You guys seem to love this Bank of America Commercial. We have had multiple requests via our request form and via our Facebook (did you guys know that you could make requests through both of those portals? Some of you did obviously, but maybe others) and so I shall just skip ahead to the info that you want to know.

The song in this commercial is “Shambala” by Three Dog Night. Three Dog Night are a rock band that formed back in 1968 so if you are sitting around thinking, man, this song sounds so retro and familiar, it might be because it is. They have 21 Billboard Top 40 hits between 1969 and 1975 and as of 2013, they are still recording and making live appearances (which is always better than making dead appearances). You can check out their website, Facebook and Twitter if you want to learn more!

Lyrics
Wash away my troubles, wash away my pain
With the rain in Shambala
Wash away my sorrow, wash away my shame
With the rain in Shambala

Ah, ooh, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Ah, ooh, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Everyone is helpful, everyone is kind
On the road to Shambala
Everyone is lucky, everyone is so kind
On the road to Shambala

Ah, ooh, yeah
Yea, yeah, yea, yeah, yeah
Ah, ooh, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, yeah

How does your light shine
In the halls of Shambala
How does your light shine
In the halls of Shambala

I can tell my sister by the flowers in her eyes
On the road to Shambala
I can tell my brother by the flowers in his eyes
On the road to Shambala

Ah, ooh, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Ah, ooh, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

How does your light shine
In the halls of Shambala
How does your light shine
In the halls of Shambala
Tell me how does your light shine
In the halls of Shambala
(Tell me how) How does your light shine
In the halls of Shambala

Ah, ooh, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Ah, ooh, yeah
On the road to Shambala

Ah, ooh, yeah
Shambala, la
Ah, ooh, yeah
On the road to Shambala
